BostonPlates and BCR

As part of the fantastic Motorsport Engineering Course, Boston College participate in the BRSCC Nankang Tyre CityCar Cup Championship as part of the Student Motorsport Competition as Team BCR. This gives students first hand experience of race preparation, pit work, and team operations at professional tracks. This unique blend of practical learning and real-world exposure prepares students for a range of roles in motorsport, performance vehicle engineering, or further study.

BCR are hugely successful and begin this season as reigning champions. 2026 driver line up are Alex Foden (#41) and Andrew Dyer (#15).

Supporting BCR is a huge privilege for BostonPlates Autocare Centre and perfectly aligns with our desire to support local and the next generation in the Motor Industry. We have been lucky enough to see the cars and speak to the team and there is a buzz in the air. We are excited to follow their progress as a very proud sponsor.
